PAST MEETINGS AND COURSES
Why to participate.
Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) is the most frequent cause of vertigo. This disease, although often benign, provokes in the affected patients an intense adverse psychological reaction, sometimes inducing an immediate and severe crisis of anxiety and fear, so as to result highly disabling. It is necessary for these patients a correct and rapid diagnostic / therapeutic approach in order to made the most proper rehabilitative treatment, in fact, the patient returns to his/her serenity and self-confidence immediately after the resolution of the acute symptoms, this prevents inappropriate and expensive instrumental exams. This course is designed to provide Audiometrists, Audioprotesists and Physiotherapists with the most appropriate methods of evaluation and treatment of BPPV.
